The OMGz's are a group of Edwardsville, IL college guys. I sat behind Corey G. in Spanish 102 when we went to EIU together. He has another group called The Beautifuls, but I think the OMGz stuff is something special.

Handsome Boy Modeling School and Cat Power

I was impressed by the Handsome Boy's 1999 release So ... How's Your Girl? but not enough to make the purchase. White People just came out and the first song I hear just blow my mind. I have been a Cat Power fan forever and her voice is gorgous here.

I saw these guys on their tour with The Format earlier in the year and I was really impressed. I great guitar sound and great catchy songs. A Whiskey Town for the emo crowd.
