The Adored - TV Riot

The Adored are a revision of old british rock/punk like the Buzzcocks or the Sex Pistols under the California sun. Their ep came out on the 21st - get it here.

Their first single TV Riot features guest vocals from none other than Pete Shelley of the aforementioned Buzzcocks.

The Blood Arm

Los Angeles' band - The Blood Arm has a great modern sound with serious rock and roll bite.
I heard these guys over at Usounds Le International and had to check them out. They have a new release available on their website and some mp3 downloads:

from Bomb Romantics (2004)

Do I Have Your Attention?

Can I Unwind?

from Four Song Demo (2003)

A Brilliant Debut

Back with Electronica - Worm is Green

Worm is Green is one of those rare electronica groups that will get listeners who don't understand and follow the genre.

Their website has some great tracks including:

Automagic (original version) - from the Album Automagic

and

Secret Admirer - from their forth-coming 2005 release.

The Concretes

The Concretes American debut is a wonderful mix of pop and rock. It is definatly an upbeat change from some of the gloomy rock that is coming out of Europe lately (not that I hate gloom)
Check out:

Seems Fine

Dirty Vegas - Walk into the Sun

I liked the last Dirty Vegas hit "Days go by." I could have done without the constant car commercial, but I love the acoustic version that they had (if I find it I'll post) and the radio edit had a nice euro pop feel.

Now Dirty Vegas is back with their album "One" and I have to say that I love the first single "Walk into the Sun" so much more than "Days go by"

This thing is Rock, catchy, and sing along all rolled into one nice package. Check it out
